Laboratory of Computational Computer Vision

Welcome to the Laboratory of Computational Computer Vision (LCCV) at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA. The lab is led by Dr. Anthony Yezzi, Ken Byers Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department, to conduct research in the areas of Systems and Controls, Image Processing and Computer Vision.

Our research is focused on advanced, state-of-the-art theoretical and computational techniques based upon concepts from differential geometry, the Calculus of Variations, and general Partial Differential Equation (PDE) theory to address problems including image enhancement, image smoothing, edge detection, segmentation, optical flow, shape from shading, stereo reconstruction, shape analysis, and visual tracking. The lab has now over a decade of history and has made contributions in the aforementioned areas.
