Roozbeh Tabrizian ROOZBEH TABRIZIAN

Roozbeh was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, where he did his BS in Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology with a focus on Electronic Circuits and Devices.

He then joined IMEMS group at Georgia Institute of Technology to do his PhD under direction of Prof. Farrokh Ayazi. His doctoral research has resulted in more than 20 refereed publications in selective conferences and journals, 6 published and filed patents, and more than 100 citations. He is also the recipient of outstanding paper awards at the 27th IEEE International Conference on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS 2014) and the 16th International Conference on Solid-State Sensors, Actuators, and Microsystems (Transducers 2011).

Roozbeh is currently continuing his research as a post-doctroal fellow in IMEMS group, where he is working on the next generation of miniaturized physical devices and novel micro- and nano-fabrication techniques for large-scale integration of microsystems.
